Hi! Welcome to my website.

I'm Mr. Minigh and welcome to the 2005-2006 school year. I will be teaching 3 classes of 8th grade Pre-Al,
1 class of 8th grade Algebra I, and 1 class of 9th grade Pre-Al.
This site will provide contact information, notice of topics to be covered, assignments, and online help/practice
sites.

Sometimes it's easier to connect with students if they know a little about the teacher as a person. On this page I'll
tell my class a little about myself. This is my 30th year of teaching...yes I'm old. I graduated from Glenville
State College in 1974 and recieved my Masters Degree from Salem Taikeo University in 1996. When I'm not at school I like to
hunt and fish, cook, write songs, look for antiques, and build things. I'm looking for an old "muscle car" to restore.
I live in a log house that I built from three old 1800's log homes. My students will learn about that when I do a unit
on log houses for Miss St. Clair in WV History class.
I am generally pretty easy to get along with in class but I expect my students to behave and work hard. No one
wins when someone disrupts a class. I can be contacted at school from 8:40 to 9:15 and 12:50 to 1:25. My e-mail

We started the year with an pre-course evaluation and will be starting in the new text books next week.
